About Us

Owners Jeff & Tanya were both raised in Ignace, and after living in Southern Ontario for over 20 years, they now live back home. Frequently referred to by guests as a "hidden gem", the Lone Pine Inn is an iconic lakeside hotel that was built by friends of the family in the 1960s.

Mike and Kay Szyszka built the hotel from the ground up (as well as most of the furnishings) and chose the perfect location for guests. Here at the Lone Pine Inn, guests have the opportunity to truly have a unique experience. Guests can enjoy more than a good night's sleep.  They can also take in all of the amenities that only a lakeside hotel can offer.
