About Us

Owners Jeff & Tanya were both raised in Ignace, and after living in Southern Ontario for over 20 years, they decided to move their family back home. The Lone Pine Inn is a unique, iconic lakeside hotel that was built by friends of the family in the 1960s.

Mike and Kay Szyszka built the hotel from the ground up (as well as most of the furnishings) and chose the perfect location for guests. Here at the Lone Pine Inn, guests have the opportunity to truly have an experience that is “Better Than The Rest”. Guests can enjoy more than a good night's sleep.  They can also take in all of the amenities that only a lakeside hotel can offer.
